In an ideal world we are well served when these two protagonists both show up. The first quote reminds us that it is knowledge’s responsibility to speak up, while it is wisdom’s role to bring perspective and big picture thinking to the processing of knowledge.
The second quote reads more as an admonition, encouraging us to not only seek knowledge, but reminding us that without wisdom we will miss what is said.
